Would Majoring In Languages In College Be Helpful To Find A Job?

I don’t mean taking a language as a side course; I mean going into college and taking your main courses on languages. I’ve always loved languages and would want to speak them all, but I’m not so sure if majoring in languages is really helpful to finding a job. And if so, would it even pay a lot?

No it will not, unless you go on to get your translation certificate. You get a job in your major field, what job do you expect to get with a Bachelors degree in a foreign language? Unless it is a double major to something else a major in foreign languages does not qualify you for anything. When going to college you do not pick a major because you like it, you choose a career and pick a major that will help you get that career.
