Because it is the place that you are going to be in for four years, it will have a reasonably amount of influence in you life, you the once who is going to pay all the loans back, and you need to feel comfortable at you college because that will help you succeed more. When really thinking about colleges, think about how big or small do you want your classes, staff and student ratios, distance and also where would you mostlike succeed, college is not easy and you want somewhere that you are confortable and you kow that you can go for help when you need it

I”ve always said that it’s pretty unfair to expect 18-year-olds to make such important decisions about their lives.
As with most things in life, the more information you have, the better able you’ll be to make a decision. There are plenty of college guides out there.
Remember, you can always change your major and even transfer to another college if you aren’t happy initially. A large percentage of college students change their majors at least once in the course of their college education.
It’s a very scary process, I know. I went through it with my two sons. But if you approach this intelligently, you can minimize the stress. Be sure to ask questions of your guidance counselor, and the school or public librarian will also be happy to help you get the info you need to make your decisions.
Good luck! You’ll be fine!

Some Advice: Make Sure that you go see the school more then ones take a tour ( call the school they can set something up ) Then go again – if there have an open house try to attend. See how you feel – also ask if you can sit in on a class what better way to see if you fit. Also ask all the (?) will you be living in the dorms? Then make sure you go see them ask the tour guide about there roommate ask them if most of the students leave and go home on the weekend ask about clubs. See the whole school ( follow ur gut ) try to see how the other students treat you. Is the school to small ? is it too Big ? do they offer your ” major ” do you happen 2 know what u want ur major 2 be ? do you want to join the Greek community? Is the school very Greek Heavy ? meaning is 85% of the school Greek Do you happen to know if you would like to join ? DO they offer lots of Tutoring? Do they help you with job placement ? its lots of questions i know but you have to see how u feel – trust me ones you step on campus u’ll know the school 4 you. but talk 2 ur parents see how much they can pay .. they might want u 2 stay close 2 home – but remember is that what u want ? Good Luck !!!

because people want the perfect place. You’ll probably be happy even at an imperfect place. If no where stands out as better than just choose one based on how close or far away from home it is how how much money it is
good luck
