Question by erika_london08: Who do you contact about getting your G.I. Bill money for school?
My brother who is an Army Veteran has been in school since January. So far he has come out of pocket for all of his schooling. He keeps trying to get his G.I.Bill money to pay for his education, but keeps getting the run around. So who is he supposed to contact to get his College money that is owed to him, and has anyone else had this problem?

Your brother needs to talk to the financial aid office at his school. If this gets him nowhere, most schools have a veterans department, or at least a counselor designated to work with their veterans. He is probably getting the run around because he is required BY LAW to produce certain documentation before they can (and will) do anything for him.
If he does not give this paperwork to them (usually because he’s lost it, but sometimes because DESPITE being a veteran he is ineligible for veterans financial aid benefits) he will not be able to get any help and will have to continue to have to pay out of pocket.
