Where Can I Find A Job Other Than Waitressing While At College?
Hey there everyone I am so stuck. Ok so I’ve been at the past job for a year which is at a country club It payed well, but I need to pay all my bills now that I am living on my own and going to college. I am looking to work a job that is different. I have applied with a staffing agency, did a few apps, walked into places asked if they were hiring of coarse it was NO. So I feel discouraged, anyone have a way they make money? Job searches dont really do much for me I’ve tried hotjobs, craigslist, local newspaper classifieds, what else is there? I’m 21 so I’m not looking for a car washing business. And I’m a girl also. it is so hard to find employment. I’d like to have a job before I got back to school in January. And legit work at home opportunities are mostly scams cashcrate, thats alright I’ll pass.

If you are looking for a way to generate income year-round, why work hard for peanuts all summer, and then wait tables all winter? http://www.students.wotsnext.com/

What about a home party plan? There are alot of them out there and most of them are legimate companies such as Tupperware, Pampered Chef, Partylite, and of course the one I am with Lia Sophia Jewelry. I can speak from experience because I do alot of college parties that most college girls love jewelry, and if they can get it at a discount that’s even better. With home party plans you can schedule your parties around your schedule, work as many or as few days per week/month as you want and make a great income doing it.
All home party plans will have a start up fee which covers the cost of your supplies, samples, etc but then they are yours – you are not putting out money for “nothing”. You are actually gaining products.
The most important thing to decide is what you want to represent – do you like jewelry? do you like to cook? do you like candles, etc? Then go for it. Check out the companies with the Direct Sellers Assoc and make sure they are legit businesses registered and in good standing with the DSA. Talk to others about them, do your research on the company. This could be a long standing career or a stepping stone for you. But it definitely is workable with a college schedule.
I would love to talk more to you about lia sophia jewelry if you at all interested. Check out my site at: http://www.liasophia.com/ringsandthings and then contact me with any questions or concerns. I also have a home party plan comparison sheet that may help with what questions to ask any home party plan you may consider.
Hope this helps

I have worked in many retail settings and restaurant settings. Waitressing is really the best way to make a large amount of money in a short time. I would look for a decent restaurant, which is on the higher end of prices. I would apply there. You’ll increase the size of your tips. You won’t make as much doing any other retail job

Hi, you can consider paid survey as a home businesse.
Paid surveys are not new, despite all the hoopla. Marketing research firms have been paying consumers to participate in surveys, focus groups and such for some time. But the Web has granted them a more-efficient way to collect data. So, many now conduct legit, online paid surveys and other types of paid, online marketing research.
