I’m a high school senior in Dallas, tx planning to attend a 4 year university in the fall. I’ve already been accepted to Texas a&m corpus christi, university of houston, and Clark Atlanta University, and I’m not sure on which one to pick. I’m trying to keep in mind the cost, distance, etc. UGGHHH so many decisions in so little time! PLZ HELP! thnx

Well, you’ve already said that you care about the cost and distance, so do research on those and see which is preferable.
Also, if you have in mind what major you’re interested in, research which college is more suitable for it.
Other things you may or may not want to research about depending on what type on person you are:
Proximity to shopping places and the airport – rural or in the city, etc
Sports, clubs, events
Size of classes, amount of people in school versus number of professors and size of college (depending on whether you want to be more anonymous or not)
classes offered.
type of system – some colleges don’t do the 2 semester thing.
Requirements – some don’t require, some do.
The weather – any extremes?
Partying and drugs and liberalness – again, depending on you, you may or may not prefer a more conservative atmosphere.
Also, whether you like it or not, your parents might want a say in this too.

Campus visits.
I mean obviously cost and distance are huge factors and yes you should base your decision mostly off of that – but also how you feel about the college itself. Visit the school, take tours of the campus, dorm rooms, class rooms, etc. Just get the vibe. Do you like huuuuge schools with tons of people or do you want a smaller school with a smaller population? What kind of clubs do they offer? You’re going to be living there for 4 years (maybe?), make sure it will be enjoyable. Pay attention to the town around it, too. Is there lots of stuff to do? Movie theatres, bars, etc.?
Good luck!
It’s YOUR decision, make sure you like the college.
