Question by Ross: What kind of framerates will I get with 2 GTX 470s in SLi with a res of 5760×1080?
Im looking to upgrade my computer and I found GTX 470s on dell.com for 300 dollars with the student discount. I also found 3 24 inch screens on there for 189 after the discount. I want to put these into an “eyefinity” set-up and I was curious about the framerates I would get with it and if I should just go with 2 5870s instead. The games I play are BC2, Star Trek online, MW2, Stalker, and some racing games. Any help would be appreciative. Also the 5870s are 400 dollars. Plus I would have to buy the displayport adapter if i went the ati route. The 470s I wont have to.
I should add that the monitors are 189 a piece.
