What Can You Use Your Student Id Card For In Nz?

I just got my student ID and I was wondering if you could use it anywhere for discounts. I know you can at the movies but i heard you can also use it at Subway….Is this true?

Often book shops, pools and the like offer these discounts. Always ask if they offer student discounts, its worth the trouble.
