Question by turtle: ways to meet girls in college?
this club involves college students who tutor high school students. i tried it last year, and though i enjoyed the tutoring, i didnt really like the college students who were the mentors. i’m kind of a scrawny little nerd while the other guys are mostly gangster wannabes and the girls are kinda sluts, though they were nice in general, we clearly dont ‘click’. i also was extremely shy last year, but a little less so this year

i’ve quit in the middle of last year due to time conflicts but i dont have those this year. sadly, i’m also older than most of them as i’m a senior in college.

my main motivation for joining this group is to make friends especially to make friends with girls or even possibly make a girlfriend (i have NO friends that are girls) and to put something on my resume as an extracurricular that i was involved in. i have no other ECs and will seek employment soon

i enjoy tutoring, i just dont enjoy the fellow mentors who also tutor. i’m also desperate to have some kind of network with girls in it

keep in mind that i’m a senior and it seems kind of late to join a new club to meet girls, which is why i thinking of re-joining this group. but on the other hand, they might find it awkward that i rejoined a year later and that i appeared extremely shy and even maybe arrogant/antisocial, even though i didnt mean to

Perhaps this is not the right group for you. Try sitting next to a girl in college who appeals to you.

Don’t get too desperate. You will find that the older you get, and as you are successful in your employment, you will gain in confidence and be more attractive to girls. You do sound a bit judgmental so try being nice to the girls and don’t act superior.
