I’m in high school and I am planning to make a business over the summer editing videos. How can I get a discount on an imac/macbook pro and final cut studio

My dad was telling me that he wants me to get a Dell for the student discount they give on the laptops (which is like 15% or something). I was looking at getting the m17x. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Im going to attend Nipissing University next year and they said that i would get a student discount from apple on their Mac book pro and air. But i was lead to believe its just the regular student discount apple already offers.
