I have a Japanese exchange student as a tutor in college. I wanted to get her and her friend a gift for Christmas before they leave to go back to Japan at the end of December. Any ideas????

I want to work at a Japanese college. Do I need a master’s degree? I have a BA from an American college. Do I need to be fluent in Japanese? What are some resources to contact? Does anyone out there work at a Japanese college?
