For most people I’ve spoken to, their final GPA (grade point average) hasn’t much affected their ability to find work after graduation in their chosen industry. Some pointed out that experience in their chosen field was more important – how did you find job seeking after graduation?

In terms of finding job and farther down, a college professor?
How important is prestige in a graduate school in terms of working at say, Yale or MIT? Or in terms of the business world, Microsoft or Yahoo! ?

I sent in my grades on 2/28/09 and I was wondering when I have to send in my grades again. Because I was told that I would have to keep my grades the same because they would check it. But they never told me how long after the first time it would be.

Well no, but if you go to the Princeton review website under the college section, it’ll help. You can type in your info in the counselor-o-matic, and it’ll give you a list of colleges that fit your grades, personality, and location preference.

If I submit an altered grade transcript to the auto insurance company looking to get a good student dicount, do I have to worry about them calling the school to check. Is this a realistic concern. If they do, what are the real consquences?
