Question by Cantankerous Steve: Is it true you can cash out your grant money for college tuition?
I heard that you can cash it out, the money you get from financial aid to pay for the costs of classes and books. Can you really cash it out if there is extra?

Answer by Found-1Yes you can. Cash benefits, such as TANF, does have to be reported as income on the FAFSA application but food stamps do not.
