Answer by Found-1Yes you can. Cash benefits, such as TANF, does have to be reported as income on the FAFSA application but food stamps do not.

I currently am waiting for a job opportunity at a really good job that is paying me good and working around my schedule. But it’s just taking a little while to start up, so I kind of need to get some cash becasue bills are coming. (Car, Insurance, Credit Cards, etc)
