when you apply to a college, you are asked to choose your intended major. does it matter which major you choose? for example if i am interested in majoring in psychology, and the school has a good psychology program, would i want to choose psychology or will it be easier to get into the college [...]

I want to do either International Relations, or Biochemistry. The colleges to choose from are the six schools:
-Sixth College
-Eleanor Roosevelt
-Earl Warren
-Thurgood Marshall
-John Muir
-Revelle
I have to rank 1-6 in the order I’d most like to attend. What do I choose?
