Even with my student discount the least expensive set-up I can find is still ,000. Other than e-bay, does anyone know of a way to find a Mac, even used, for under ,000?

I’m not from the US, and I’m going there soon. I want to know if I can get a student’s discount on a MacBook Pro.
I’m 15.

I got the new 13.3″ Macbook but I didn’t know about the student discount. If I call apple support, do you think they would still give me the discount?
(I found out online that it’s just a $50 discount….but that’s $50 I could have saved, I’m trying for a “rebate” type thing).

My University of Oregon e-mail is still working, so is Blackboard, and Duckweb. If I go to an Apple Store, how do they know I’m a student or not? Don’t they just ask for your student ID? (which I still have). I’m curious of how Apple verifies this. Any Apple employee [...]

What kind of discount?
Also, what do you need to prove you are a student? (I don’t have an actual ID card, but I have an ID number and I’m registered and attending the school. Thank You.
