Question by Timmers: Student Advantage at GWU?
I have a student advantage card, and I have yet to find any places to use it in the Washington DC/GWU area. Any suggestions for restaurants in particular that give discounts for the student advantage card?

I just recently learned about this card for college students. I’m always looking for ways to save and it would be nice to receive discounts for being a college student! So does anyone have this? Is it worth just $20/year?

Is there any reason why the US should not change to a simple majoritarian system?

If you’re exactly the right age but are not in college, will that affect the usability of the card in anyway? Do they care?
Will you use it and they’ll be like “dude, I need to see your proof of studentivity or enrollment in university”

definitly worth it!!! it costs 25 dollars to join, and the discounts are great. i used it for amtrak before i had my car, and after taking two trips it was already worth it. and ive used it for other things, like urban outfitters and stuff, and its great.

I took classes during the spring in Maryland, now I’m taking a break in California, & I lost my college ID. I’m trying to get back to Maryland on the Amtrak, will they sell me a Student Advantage Card even though I don’t have my college ID?
Also, does the Student Advantage card give you discounts [...]

i bought a train ticket 3 days in advance and got the 15% discount. the problem is it’s for tomorrow and i wanted to leave later than i had anticipated. is it possible to change my ticket? do i just pay the difference if i do that?
