Student Discounts On Purchasing Office 2007?

I heard that you can go to the website and purchase Microsoft 2007 for a discounted price if you are a student. Is that true because I haven’t found any link that would support this rumor, and I do not want to pay three hundred dollars for office 2007. I will buy the older version

the site is techsoup.com but its a pain in the $%#$…use OpenOffice, its a free download try cnet.com
