Student card discounts?

Student Discounts
With a valid student card, where are the best places to shop in New York City (for clothes)?
Do many places give discounts? (food, clothes, transport, attractions etc.)
Do places like H&M, American Eagle, Forever 21, Zara have student discounts? e.g. 10% off at checkout?

Not sure, but over in DC, if you show your student ID at the movies, they give you some sort of discount. =)

i go to hs in nyc.
and i don’t think you get student discounts on clothes.
and for metrocards, we get student cards from school, but it’s only for monday to friday.
and we also have this card we buy from school that gives discounts in stores around the neighborhood.
but just showing an ID in clothes store don’t work i think.
