Should I Be A Mark Representative? What Kind Of Bonuses And Discounts Will I Receive?

I am a full-time college student who works part time. I love Mark make-up and am considering becoming a rep; however, I do not imagine making much profit from it. My main reason for wanting to become a rep is for the discounts and bonuses. What kind of discounts and bonuses can I except? I buy so much that I figure it might be a good idea to just become a representative!

It’s definitely worth it to become a rep, even if you’re just going to buy the products for yourself. I believe it only costs 20 bucks to sign up & you receive that much worth of free product – which is cool, because you’re actually paying for items, not just a membership. Also, you get a 40% discount on all the cosmetics you purchase, and a 25% discount on clothing. They just came up with a bonus program, where you earn 10 reward points for every $100 you (or a customer) purchases. The points can be used on a variety of items from movie tickets to plasma TVs. As far as selling the cosmetics goes, I’ve found it incredibly difficult to make money – and the company is horrible about allowing you to market the products. You have to be all sneaky in advertisements, can’t use the word “Avon” in any of your online advertising or picture links, or you get rude messages from the company. You’d think they would want to make it as easy as possible to sell the items, but I guess not! I’ve had more luck selling the items on Ebay, but if you decide to go that route, don’t use a stock photo of an item and then put the word Avon in the product description. Then you’ll have both Ebay and Avon sending you nasty messages because of some weird copyright issue with the stock photos. It doesn’t seem to be very profitable, but if you buy the cosmetics for yourself, it’s totally worth it for the discounts!

Im not sure what type of bonuses you get. But, you can go and ask anyone who works there!!
