Really need to fly out to new york this week? Am I eligible for discounts/coupons?
Question by Emma: Really need to fly out to new york this week? Am I eligible for discounts/coupons?
My sister lives in New York City and she just found out her husband of two years has been cheating, spending money on the other girl and they are struggling. Shes doing REALLY bad. We are really really close and she kept saying she wishes one of us could visit the other.
Anyways my parents hate the guys she married so they won’t let my fly out b/c they are still mad at my sister even though she is going through a super tough spot in her life.
I’m 16, I’m in college, technically living with a single mom…….
are there any plane ticket discounts or coupons that would fall under those categories? Student/minor discounts??
I have about 250$ in my bank account and could get a little more, but not much. My mom will let me but I have to pay for it.
I need to fly from Orlando to New York City (JFK airport) I could really leave almost anytime this week but I have to be back by august 5th because my classes start
Could anyone help find a round-trip ticket? Coupon? Discount?
Thanks so much

You aren’t going to find any discounts. and it is unlikely you will find a ticket you your price range. Your only alternative is bus.

Not unless any airlines are having sales. Here is a link to the cheapest airfare I could find: https://www.spiritair.com/LogInOrContinue.aspx
If you can handle flying into LaGuardia instead of JFK, this is the best you can get. On such short notice, you can’t expect flights any cheaper than this. Yes, Spirit Air has a very bad reputation, but it’s a very cheap airline. And book ASAP because flights are just going to get more and more expensive every day.

Most airlines I can think of have a low fare finder tool on their websites. Look up which airlines fly in and out of both airports, I like wikipedia. Then which every airlines fly out of both, go to that airline’s website, just google the airline and it’s usually the first link.
Now check prices for the next few weeks, maybe even for the next month, that’ll help you find a cheap fare. Takes a little research, but when I had a death in the family, I HAD to fly across the country, I used a tool on one of the airline’s website and found a decent $400 round trip ticket. Now you’re just going up the east coast so you should be able to find something. Just take the time to look things up.
Because the list is so long, but here’s the airlines that fly non-stop between the two airports, so check these guys out first:
American
jetBlue – poke around, if you can leave in august and stay there’s some $98/each way fares.
Delta
check all other airlines because sometimes connections are cheaper, it’s weird but it happens.
