Question by pinkisshel: Where can I find Information about receiving more Finacial Aid Money for College?
Recently I just recieved my award letter for fincial aid and it states they are giving me ,000 per semester. I am 24 yrs old, single mother,don’t receive child support, and do not have an income. I’m just having a hard time with this because I have herd many single mothers getting alot more to help support there family while they are in school

Every college has a Financial Aid office. That’s the very first place I’d go to receive more information.

Fo r single mothers there are lots of grants and scholarships that could help you. Just search the web and start applying.

you can go to the public library and there are plenty of grants you can get, that many people do not know about.

I would talk to the institution you are attending. I’m sure they offer all kinds of programs that you just don’t know about. Perhaps contact the financial aid office with this situation. You could also try scholarships. Check out http://www.fastweb.com for scholarships.

I would definetly try your financial aid office at school. They might have you write a letter of your situation and why you need the money. There is also a lot of scholarships that are not associated with you school that you could get. Either get a few scholarship books at a bookstore or you could look on fastweb.com or collegeboard.com and they can help you find scholarships best suited for your needs.

i have given up on FINANCIAL AID…why is it such a hassle to get money for education? The process is horrid and it feels like the paperwork is nery going to end, Better Luck to u
