Q&A: What are my options for child day care?
Question by Nikki: What are my options for child day care?
I am a full time college student, married, college tutor, and on scholarship on a sports team. I just found out that I am pregnant. I was wondering what my child care options are. I will need someone to watch the baby when I am in class and at practice when my husband is working. I tried to find some info, but all I found was day care for 3-6 year olds. What are my day care options? Is there such a thing as government day care?

Check at your school. Where I am going to school there is a registered day care for students, staff, and professors. The baby would be on campus with you.
Call the day cares in your area and ask what age they take. Compare prices. You may even be able to interview a nanny or home day care to see if that is the best thing for you child.
Good luck.

I have never heard of something called government daycare. But in some state some people all depending on deciding factors can get help like money with daycare. But most colleges that I know of have daycares at the colleges starting at 6 weeks and there usually open from like 6am till 6pm. I hope this helps and good luck
