Question by Griffinim08: Im going to start college soon, and I was thinking of trying to find a job in construction while Im at school.
Is this a smart idea, if so how would I go about getting a job in this feild. I dont have much experience but I know how to use most tools and Im a very hard worker who learns quickly.

absolutely its a smart idea. now where are you, some places in canada have a serious need for help and other places (like michigan where the economy is bad) are laying people off.

try constructionjobs.com .. but better yet just try to start meeting people who own or work for construction companies in the area you are going to live in. if you have a strong body and are smart (to not hurt yourself, to learn skills quickly) its a great way to make a good income and perhaps learn from the right people so that you can advance quickly.. to supervisor, or to own your own company. engineering and project management are great career directions to think about, also, or buying homes to rehab them.
