Question by starrave_freedom: I want to find a college that includes these four subjects…?
I would like to attend a college where I can take classes on quantum physics, creative writing, philosophy and music. I would like for this college also to have some sort of school choir or private vocal tutor, something like that.

Does anyone know of a good school that would meet my needs? Anywhere in the U.S. is great.

Pretty much any college will offer those choices. But keep in mind that quantum mechanics is one of the last classes that physics majors take, because it has so many pre-requisites – two semesters of intro physics, two semesters of mathematical physics, calculus I, II, and differential equations, one semester of modern physics, and it doesn’t make a lot of sense without classical mechanics and eletromagnetics. If you’re not interested in doing a physics major, you probably either can’t sign up for the class or it won’t make any sense – so if you don’t want to major in physics, make that course a low priority when looking for colleges.

Maybe look into Smith College? They have a fantastic choir, and all of the above courses – including QM.

One would be the University of Southern California. They offer majors and minors in all of the subjects you mentioned. Take a look at their website which includes detailed info on all. Also they have a world renowned music school that has several choir options and many of their graduate vocal students are available for vocal tutoring for non-majors at all levels. The school also offers voice classes for beginners and advanced levels if you decide to wait on individual lessons. Good luck!
