Question by DancingDancer: How old do you have to be to tutor for money?
I am a 17 year old teen who loves to tutor. I need a job for the summer and I would love to be able to tutor younger children for money. I do well in school, high grades, etc., but i was wondering if there was any place where they would let a 17 yr old tutor. I know usually people prefer qualified teachers or at least people with a college degree to tutor. Where can I look to find a tutoring job? Can a 17 year old tutor for money? I would prefer to tutor around the age of 1st or 2nd grade preferably in math. Tell me if this is possible!

Why dont you start off doing it as volunteer work, then if your good parents will start spreading your name around… then start doing it for money

plus volunteer hours look good on a resume, plus those parents could become refrences
