Depends what branch and if you get a kicker (bonus). Certain jobs in each branch offer a kicker for the GI Bill. it costs you nothing extra, just that you have to get a certain jobs. you would have to contact a recruiter for that list.(and what jobs are even available at your base). The GI bill lasts 36 months. These rates are based on full time status, part time status is less.
Army reserve- $ 309 per month and up to an additional $ 350 a month for the Kicker
Army National Guard- Same as Army reserve
Navy Reserve- $ 329 a month and an additional $ 200 per month for the kicker.
Marine corps Reserve- $ 297 per month and an additional $ 350 a month kicker
Air Force Reserves- $ 329 per month and an additional $ 350 per month with the kicker.
Air National guard- $ 297 per month and an additional $ 350 kicker
Note, the kicker is only available if you get certain qualifying jobs.
