Question by 80’s Baby: How did you choose your college major/career??????
I really dont want to have an undecided major but i dont know what career path i to choose!
Is there some kind of online test/quiz that ask your what your interest and strenghts are to determine a career that suits you???

There is something lots better than one of those online quizzes that finish by trying to sell you something–a career counselor. They have them at high schools and colleges. Ask to talk to one about that.
The best advice I got on career paths was to figure out what I loved doing and then finding a way to make it be my career.

The other postee made an excellent point to go with one’s passion and aim at making money at it
They say ‘if you love what you do, you’ll never have to work a day in your life’. Farrah Gray, author of ‘Reallionaire’ and young multimillionaire, suggests asking oneself this question about a career path, “What would I do for years and years to come and not have to get paid?”

Talking with a high school or college counselor may help as well and they may be able to administer a vocational checklist evaluation to narrow down fields of interest.

Volunteering may be another helpful way to ‘get one’s feet wet’ in various fields as well as being able to give back to the community. (It also helps the person look more motivated than the next on college and job applications
