if i already get enough financial aid to pay for school, besides the 309 will make a month how much would i take home of my GI bill, kicker, military loans and everything? i want to see if i would have enought to live off of each month my rent for college housing is about 450- 500 a month i will need atleast 1000 a month for every thing…keep in mind i plan on trying to get any benefits possible

You can keep it all, the GI pays you fo the hours your taking no one cares how you spend it as long as your class is payed for and you pass it

I think you can get tuition assistance — but cash — don’t thinnk so. Loans have to be paid back.

there are two many blanks to answer your question….
the gibill changes pretty often so it depends upon when you joined.
kicker…depend one which program of kickers.
military loans…depends upon how much you take out
I can tell you my gibill was 31,000, my navy college funding or kicker was 40,000…I get paid to go to school full time around 1300.00 tax free

Considering the National Guard will pay for all you tuition costs up-front (in most states) you should be able to get by. The GI bill (for reserve components) isn’t much and you’ll have to do without it during regular breaks in school. But combine that with traditional financial-aid, scholarships and your drill pay… you can be a poor college student like everyone else without even having to work a part-time job.
