Hi, I am a college student and I’ve purchased Microsoft Office under student discounts. Since I am a musician, I would love to see the software “Finale” to have a good student discount as well because everything I see online as discount is above 200 dollars. Is there any chance that I can find the Finale software with better discounts?

Absolutely! I have found the best place, not only for my school (I retired in 08) but for ME, was www.academicsuperstore.com. You will need to email them a scan of your ID, to verify that you are in education, ministry or military – but their prices are great. Just Google also for Finale Academic discount – and several places will come up. I honestly think that authorized re-sellers are not ALLOWED to offer this below a certain price point – the best I have seen being $ 229.95 – but there are sometimes open-package thing on eBay.

What about Sibelius? I have both of them running – plus some other arcane things that have certain features I like.
