No, it’s illegal to keep a child out of education but after high school it’s whatever the child wants.

it isn’t illegal for them to force you if you arent abused or threatened physically. for example, they can threaten to kick you out of the house or not support you financially if you don’t go to a college of their choosing

If they are paying for it, heck yes they can, its their money. If it’s your money, or you have to take the student loans out yourself, then it’s your choice. But remember, if you are still bound by relying on your parents for financial support, then it really isn’t up to you.

No.
The only reason that they can make you go to a k-12 grade
school is because everyone legally has to go.
But no one has to legally go to college.
Something like that is a personal choice.
Just like if you get pregnant under 18, your parents can’t
make you keep/give up/abort the baby.
The law sets certain rules to what a parent can and
cannot do.

No, but they can cut off $$
Are you secure with your own $$ to go on it alone??
If not, parents rule

Once you turn 18, no. Until then, they can make you do anything they want that doesn’t infringe on your legal rights; this includes attending a school. However, if you can afford to pay the tuition for the school you want to attend, there isn’t anything stopping you from leaving as soon as they drop you off.
I would explain this to them, being sure to emphasis the amount of money they would be wasting if they attempted to force you to attend whatever university they plan on.
