I just get worried….thinking about jobs and think its going to be hard finding a good job to supporse myself with only an associates degree in computer science because every job I see talks about things I haven’t even learned yet plus bachelors with 4yrs experience makes me sick thinking about it as if I am wasting my time going to school

Job interviews may be nerve-wrecking but you can’t let that show! Your employers need to know you’re confident and open to learn. Perhaps start with an easier job, like being a sales associate or cashier and build experience from there. Every job has different requirements, so unless you have a specific job in mind, you should have some generic knowledge or something that will support you in earning the job. Show them that you’re eager to learn and hey, maybe you’ll get an internship and transfer from there on.. who knows? There are lots of oppurtunities out there. We have to start from the bottom and learn our way up.
Also at interviews, think of some familiar things to you to try to calm you down. Focus and give them direct answers. Don’t go around the question. You could get practice by asking someone to ask you some questions as they would in an interview so you can be prepared! Good luck with your job planning.
