Im going to fail college arrrrg?
Question by Red: Im going to fail college arrrrg?
Hello there,
Now my problem is this. I was getting a bit behind on college work and have a past history which tutor knows about of skipping a lesson here and there. Now I only going college 2 days a week, but somehow by being addicted to world of warcraft, and just not getting around to completing the work in general, I end up not going. Now ive not gone for around 3 weeks (as well as having a holiday in between) and im just starting to get my work done now.
But it gets worse, due to missed lessons both previously and now I have no idea what to do for some certain bits and with the fear of going back means tutor finding out how really behind I am and maybe even kicking me off course here, right at the end of a 2 year business course, I feel as If I cant go until ive done my work.
I dont know why im posting this, not really a question overall, but thought id share my dilema and ask for any advice. Parring the obvious “Get your arse into college!” hehe
p.s. I live in england, so im in college not university just to clarify
And in relation to addiction to the game, I am not blaming is souly on the game addiction, my laziness has played a massive part in it. The problem now being fear of going back into college and dialema of doing work to show ive done good even though ive not been, or go in with nothing and risk getting completly and utterly fucked

Give up the video game dude. Your education is much more important….the video game can wait, your college wont.

hm. first stop playing world of warcraft.
hide it like under ur bed or lend it to ur friends and
stop playing it for a while until u get urself sorted.
make urself a daily plan and u can treat urself
like breaks inbetween and its essential not to skip schools.
u know ur in trouble. so get to work!

You got your self in to a mess ,being behind other students, and you want to catch up and make sure that you attend college and act natural, and try to get from your friends the lessons that you missed on,and when exams comes you will be one of the best students with high marks

You need to bite the bullet and make time to see your college tutor / student adviser; get your parents onside and show a united front, together try to persuade the college that you’ve tuned over a new leaf and that you realise how close you are to getting kicked out of college and that from now on you will knuckle down.
Tutor might think its a load of bollocks but at least you tried.
I’m in England too.
