I was not an athlete in high school so far, is there anyway to become an athlete in college?

College Tutoring
I have heard in the past week from some people in my school that are going to college and playing sports that they will get good grades because they will have a free tutor. First of all, is this true? And if so, should I try to get into athletics my senior year and try to be noticed by some college or are there “try outs” for college football teams?

Definitely. It could be harder and could be easier.
I was never involved in student government in high school other than freshman year. I was nominated by half of my English class my freshman year in college. Ha. Colleges are very inviting.
I don’t know about the tutor thing. Anyway, you need to email a coach of a college you’re interested in. Even if you don’t end up going to that college, he should be able to answer your questions. If you get a hold of him now, he might be interested in you later.
If you can’t for some reason join, join an intramural sports team. It’s A LOT of fun. It can get pretty competitive. Ha.

yes most college teams have free tutors, but it doesn’t necessarily mean they will get good greades. But it would be very difficult to all of a sudden start doing a sport and expect to get on a college team. Maybe a D3 team? Sports in college are very competitive. But good luck if you decide to do so.
