go back to or call your school and talk with your adviser or office that deals with job placemnt ( you should have one) they will be your BEST refrenece and ally in finding you a job out their in your field!

Visit career fairs, look for internships (to get your foot in the door), and keep in touch with business connections you made in college.

Many human service agencies will accept BA/BS in sociology. You could look into working in residential group homes for juveniles, you could work for a state agency, you could become a case worker or case manager in a mental health setting…..there are lots of possibilities. I would recommend you contact your school and speak to a career counselor and do some research online. I would also advise you in thinking about graduate school….it is hard to make a living wage with just a bachelor’s degree in this area.
