Student Discounts
I am a secondary school student (UK) and I would like to buy a macbook in store, do I require some sort of ID to show them? Please explain to me.

it is probably aimed at college students, they would need a ’student union’ card.

Just take in a student card and you’re fine. They aren’t too hard core about it. For online purchases you can type in any student number and it goes through basically. They’re pretty cool about it.
The hardware is only a couple hundred dollars at best off. They don’t have huge student discounts on the hardware. But if you need to buy any Apple software, the student versions of their software can be significantly cheaper.

If you go to Apple’s website and your school is in the list of recognized institutions then you qualify for the discount. Most of the schools are post secondary though.

You need either a photo ID College card, NUS card or university card. It must have a photo of yourself on and also the year(S) you are studying there.

Check other sites for discounts? I use http://www.discount-hunt.com to search for discounts on Amazon, it also has a Amazon UK section http://www.discount-hunt.com/UK/
