I Have A Question About Student Discounts On Macs…?

Student Discounts
If I buy a Mac do you think that they will give me a student discount, and if so how much? If I have to do something that will let me get a student discount, what would it be? And one last question, what kind of Mac should I get for a laptop? I’m thinking about the Mac Book Pro 15.4″…
Thanks for the help!!!

You just need to prove that you are a student. A recent transcript, a teacher vouching for you, or a student ID card will suffice.
The discount isn’t that much. $50-$100 in my experience, which is a lot of money, but nothing when you’re looking at a $2,000 laptop.
As far as what laptop you should get, it really depends on what you plan to use it for. The Pro is good for graphic design, music, movies, and other things that take up a lot of memory and space. The Air is nice for portability, but not that powerful given how expensive it is. The regular old MacBook is fine for most college classes (term papers, spreadsheets, class presentations, etc.)

You also need to be over 18 otherwise they dont accept it. You get more off if u go to iniversity.
