   Berkeley is the more prestigious school. SFSU is less expensive and offers smaller undergrad class sizes which will be taught be professors instead of graduate assistants. Berkeley has better facilities and cultural activities. Berkeley’s reputation will give you a small advantage when it comes to getting your first job.

   Berkeley,
   if you can get in!
   I go to state, would have gone to UCB but I got a scholarship for state.
   State schools are having huge cut downs because the economy is so bad. Its very hard to get the classes you want let alone the ones you need. Anyway if you like the City (SF), then its easy from Berkeley to SF by public transportation.

   Berkeley ! My brother went there for Political Science – later went on to San Fran for Law – and now he makes about $300 an hour . That’s pretty good incentive , huh ? I’ve been to the campus many times and lived in Berkeley and there’s nothing else like that place – pure character .

   UC Berkeley
   Last year it was the No 1 Public university in the U.S

   Apply at both, but understand that with California budget problems the Board of Regents is restricting new admissions to cut costs. You may not get accepted at either for that reason, but Good Luck.

   BERKELEY— and its not just cuz im from there. its a great school.
