I have been in various extra-curricular activities throughout my high school years including chess club, science olympiad, social studies olympiad, key club, spanish club, computer club, and i tutored math students. I am planning on going to wayne state university or oakland university but i can not afford college. Can any of you help me get some scholarships or where i can go to get some?

fastweb.com is legit, and has a ton of scholarships that are matched to you based on your profile that you make on the site.

Try:
http://www.petersons.com they have a good scholarship search. So does
http://www.fastweb.com
Beware of sites that ask you for money for scholarship listings, or to become a member of their site, its usually a scam.
Peterson’s also has a physical almanac of Undergraduate scholarships available for this upcoming academic year. I found copies at both Barnes and Noble and Borders bookstores. You might also find it at your local library. The Library can hook you up, that’s how I managed to get a scholarship for my college.
Hope this helps.

Apply for FAFSA. There’s a ton of grants and scholarships that you could get through that. Also, check with your school’s financial aid department. My school has an application on their website that helps you find scholarships.

I’ve been looking for scholarships to apply to for the last year and it’s a daunting task. Pacific Northern University has a scholarship page that has some really easy online applications. You might try those; I was able to do them all in under 15 minutes.

Good luck!
