How to choose a community college?
Question by Noc: How to choose a community college?
I’ve narrowed down to 2. A’s tuition fees and living expenses are higher than B’s. I want to go to A but not sure if my parents wanna pay for it. I somehow feel that I should go to B as it will save a lot for my parents. How can I choose?

For a community college, I think there won’t be so much different in tuition fees. You have to consider why you would want to go to A. Does it have the major you want to study, is it a prestigious school, or do you like the city/town, and so forth. After throughly considered, if you feel like A is a better choice for you, go for it. Ask if your parents can pay for your partial tuition fees, and apply for federal financial aid/scholarships. There are lots of help available from the government assisting students to pay for college. I’ve heard of somebody go to Rice University FOR FREE because financial aid paid for it. Or you can think about working while you go to school. I personally think trying to apply for scholarships and financial aid would be the best option.
