How much should I charge for foreign language tutoring?

College Tutoring
I’m a senior in college and fluent in French and advanced level in Spanish. What would be a reasonable rate if I wanted to tutor people? And any advice on the best way to get students?

I would creat a free website by using freewebs.com that gives the basic information. Post signs around your community and place adds in the paper. $35 a hour is what I hear is cheap to get foreign lanuage. But I would personaly charge 15 dollars a hour.

15 dollars an hour you can always lower the price if no one is buying and put up flyers in school

You can have an ad in a local newpaper. You can also make your own ad, then pass it out at a local high school. Maybe you should have the French tutoring price cheaper than the Spanish one since you are fluent but not advanced. Are you from the US? If so, maybe you should charge $15 an hour for Spanish and $12 for French. If people believe this is too expensive, then lower the price.
