it depends on how persuasive you are to find a job. mostly, it won’t take time after you completed your requirements (e.g. diploma, transcript, etc.). for me, it took me less than a month.
We should first distinguish between ‘job’ and ‘career’. You will want to find a career such that you’re being paid enough to live independently at a relatively good level.
Now this depends on what you majored in and what level of experience you have (i.e. part-time jobs, internships). High demand areas such as nursing, computer science and engineering will actually allow you a lot of choices, even offers before you even graduate. Non-marketable degree areas, however, this is not the case. you may find a very difficult time finding a career option; you can easily find a ‘job’ however, such as being a waiter or cashier somewhere (and in fact ,many do this).
It also depends on your flexibility to relocate. if you’re hell-bent on staying where you are then you’re severely limiting your career options.
