How do you manage school and work?

I’m taking 5 college courses and I tutor 6-9 hours a week. I have classes Tuesday and Thursday from 9 in the morning till 8 in the evening with a 3 hour break in the afternoon. I have a three hour course on Monday, and Wednesday from 5 pm -8pm and I tutor at our college every day from 12-1:30/ 2:00 pm. Should I get a job? I had one but I had to quit because my grades were getting poor. I need the money. What days should I work and for how long? How would you manage school, work and time to do your homework?

You just need time management. I actually say look around the college, see if any places will hire you based on when you have free time. They may be more flexible because they’ll hire students from the area.

Well you have a tight schedule, and if you tried getting a job and started getting bad grades, I think the best thing is to get a job during the weekend, working only few hours. Also, there are schools that give you jobs such as student assistant positions, where you dont have to work hard and they allow you to do homework. but you have to check if your school offers that. Its really hard to work, tutor and maintain good grades at school, but you have to analyze what is more important to you, getting good grades which will define your future or having big money in your pocket at the moment.
