Well….I changed course at the end of my first year…so my advice is…it’s important but you can always change if it’s not right for you.
Right the grown up stuff….
What subject would you like to do?
Do you want to be far from home, near or in between>
Do you want a campus, normal or like a london style set up?
Have your teachers picked any out?
Then have a look a the ucas website..it will explain about the courses that you want and where you can do them….send off for a prospectus from every uni you are thinking about. I had about 20! lol
Then narrow it down to about 10…see what grades they want, see what your friends.teachers/parents think….and go and have a look round at an open day.
While you don’t know what you’re looking for…once you find it you know. That’s a bit cryptic but I was the same, had some ideas but then rocked up and something about the place made me feel like I would belong here….
Good luck…if you need any more advice feel free to pm me!

it totally depends on you, list down what matters, like
financing you education,
location,
prestige,
etc.
then select and narrow down your searches by considering the class size, the campus ambience.
In my case, location matters the most coz i was raised up in a big city with skycrapers and i cant imagine living in a remote area.

Afternoon
Right i have thought about this long and hard and my way has got to be the best. When i wanted to know which is the best uni i just went to them got rat arsed in the pubs and see how it ended up. If you felt good the next day your in for a good one. Don’t go just off what others say because people always want to big up there own uni. As for your career not a clue my dear.
Have fun

It is okay. I recommend you stay in your own state if you don’t get a scholarship. You don’t want to pay out-of-state tuitions and fees. Then, you cannot pay back the student loans. Good luck.

Our choice of University is limited by
1. Our academic ability.
2. Our Pocket limitations.
3. Our career interest.
