Don’t worry.
There are thousands, if not tens of thousands of students who don’t know what they want to major in.
Did you know that colleges also offer courses that help you FIND your major/passion.

The first two years of college you take ‘core’ classes – classes that every one has to take. Don’t worry about not having a major yet. That will come later.

Since you don’t know what you want to do yet, go to your community college and talk to a counselor. Take some classes there and when you know what you want to major in you can transfer to another college or university.

Since you don’t know what you want to major in, maybe you should go to a liberal arts school, that has lots of available majors and gets you to try lots of different things. You don’t have to know what your major is going to be to decide on a college. Think about where you want to live: do you want to move out of Maryland? will you be OK far away from your family? big town, small town? Check out the College MatchMaker on the College Board website, it’s really helpful, it’s actually how I first found out about the college I’m at now, which I love!

Go to a liberal arts college (check its definition on Wikipedia or do a Google search) because it will give you a broad education and expose you to many different fields. There are several good ones in MD, including the US Naval Academy (if I’m not mistaken). If you go to your neighboring VA, there are also really good ones, like Washington and Lee University.
You discover your passion by trying many things, sometimes by trial-and-error.
As you may already know, you don’t need to know what your passion is before you go to college. In fact, you go there to find out what it is.
