how can i make my college diploma from my country to be helpful in finding good jobs in the United States?

I graduated in my country Kosova/Albania and i got a college diploma for electrician. Then I had to move to USA since there was no jobs in my country and i wanted my children to have a better life. So when i when to job interviews it seemed like my diploma wasn’t worth it. So please try to give me any suggestion if you can.

what kind of a diploma isit? if it is a bologna approved bachelor/master then u should have noproblem. however if its an earlier east block diploma then the imperialist americans wont recognize it

- try to get more experience by doing some sort of internship .
- go to a school and do some Tech studies , your diploma will be worth it .
