How Am I Supposed To Get A Job After I Graduate From College?

College Jobs
I’ve been hearing stories about people who graduate from college have a really tough time finding a job nowadays and it’s equivalent to someone who is trying to find a fast food job.
My question is, how do people cope with this? How am I supposed to cope with this? I mean I plan on majoring in something to do with science, but if it’s this hard to find a job, I might as well stop trying to get a GPA above 3.5 and just work at McDonalds.

While in college, apply for internships with numerous companies. If you do well in an internship you have a great chance of them asking you if you want a job with them.
It’s what I did.

A good GPA will help you in the long run (as will good classes) even if in the short term you have difficulty. You can stretch out your program by getting internships, doing research (maybe for credit), and building up your resume in that way–maybe even study abroad if your school has it. Science graduates have a much easier time than others.

My recommendation is to make sure you are taking a major that is a job
ie Education–Teacher
marketing-some advertising firm or industry
journalism-writer
nursing-nurse etc
Bio–??
history???
political science??
What is the goal teaching, law, research, med school.
If you want to go into science do you want research, medicine, pharmacy, therapy, chiropratic, nursing, xray tech,
there are plenty of jobs in the health care world. You will be able to find a job.

a lot of schools have coop programs and internship programs and if you do well then you get a job offer. building up your resume is the most important thing to do while in college. do internships, study abroad, etc. if you do these things then you really shouldnt worry about gettin a job.
the people who struggle are the ones who barely graduated and did nothing but drink and party. they probably went for a really popular major too. go for something that in demand

I’m a college student too. In my country it is reallyhard too to find a job. I find that being entrepreneur is better in this black economy age, well you know about the crisis right? Maybe you should choose online job because it is quite easy to find one
