i just finished a month ago doing my high school diploma through penn foster online i have to finish paying off what i owe which will be paid off in a few months but is there anyway i can find out how much i could get through financial aid if i would have to pay it back or not and so on before i apply to a school or even before i get my diploma mailed to me??? and can i apply to a school without having the diploma in my hand??? im all new to this college stuff so im a litle confused…i dont work right now and i am a stay at home mom so i dont have an income for myself. and if i choose to go to a school instead of online classes can i include that in the finacial aid for daycare???

yes you can apply before you start but they wont give it to you until you are in college

there are a lot of great resources out there for you. You can certainly apply for financial aid before you pick a college or even apply to one. Just get the college code for FAFSA. If you are planning on going to a local community college you can go out there and speak with an academic adviser and a financial aid person who will be able to help you a lot. There are also alot o great books out there that give you a big run down of everything and how it works. A trip to your local library will help you out a lot.
