Question by Akira: Does having a job lower your chances of getting financial aid for college?
I’ve been wanting to get a job at the mall, but I thought that by having a job, you’ll get less money for college. Is this true?

I’m not sure that it lowers the amount that you receive, but I work almost full time (around 30 hours a week for about an hour) and received ,000 for tuition and books. It covered everything twice over.

not really, unless your making more than $10grand a year, i really dont think its gona affect it too much. i had a job in college (and made less than 10g’s) and it didnt affect it at all. although it probably depends if your total income with your parents exceeds a certain amount.
