It’s an odd figure but only 14%.
I know this as my son, also a student, is buying one for his course. I was surprised its only 14% off £1,600, why can’t they give a better deal for cash strapped students.

You can get better deals by looking for Refurbished laptops on the Apple site – stock changes day to day but you can sometimes get as much as 30% off.

you need to register yourself as a student and it will then tell you the discount.
