They didn’t used to when I was in college. Every semester I had to submit a copy of my report card to my Allstate agent to continue to get the discount. 1 of the reasons for the report card was to check the GPA, the other reason was to make sure I was taking at least 12 credit-hours.
That policy may have changed since I was in college 7 years ago, but I doubt it. Check with your agent to be sure – hopefully I’m wrong and you’ll get the discount!

most insurance companies require you to be a full time student 12+ credit hours a semester.
