Yes, I know its a simple question, but hear me out for a second. For those of you already on the road to medical school or are considering it you probably know most of the general requirements to be even considered. Certain classes of sciences and math, MCAT, GPA, research, and volunteer work and the list can vary depedning on the school being applied to..
However, heres what I am trying to figure out. Does it really matter what type of volunteer work that I do? Do you guys think that tutoring biology to freshmen college students would be accepted as volunteer work? Or would they look it as nothing?

Pease be mature and no pompous comments, I just want to know how to go about this.

Thanks for your input in advance.
